Directions to Sannacott Cottage
From M5
Junction 27 take the A361 to Tiverton and Barnstaple
Go past Tiverton and from the roundabout beside Tiverton 15.5 miles to next roundabout where you turn right (opposite the left turn to South Molton) – very small sign to Whitechapel.
Small road – 1.5 mile to T junction
Right turn onto blind hump back bridge – signposted to North Molton & Twitchen.
Third farm entrance on your left after bridge – Sannacott sign on black iron gates after 1.5 mile.
From Exford
Head for North Molton (either through Withypool or via Landacre Bridge)
You will pass small pub Sportsman Inn at Sandyway approx 4 miles before North Molton.
After the pub take the third turn left (approx.1m from pub) small road opposite gate onto North Molton Hill.
Long hill (lovely view!) straight over two X roads
Pass cottages on right & a turn to Molland on left
Straight over mini X road (N. Molton to right)
Sannacott sign on black iron gates 50 yards on right.
If you miss the left turn at top of N. Molton hill – continue until just into village and turn left (signed Molland) before bridge over river. Follow lane 1.5m to mini X roads – turn right signed South Molton – Sannacott sign on black iron gates 50 yards on right. |
